Applicable Applications for PPP1R1A recombinant protein
ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Antigen Protein (AP), Protein Array
Species
Human
Tag
His
Subunit
Interacts with PPP1R15A.
Entry Function
Inhibitor of protein-phosphatase 1. This protein may be important in hormonal control of glycogen metabolism. Hormones that elevate intracellular cAMP increase I-1 activity in many tissues. I-1 activation may impose cAMP control over proteins that are not directly phosphorylated by PKA. Following a rise in intracellular calcium, I-1 is inactivated by calcineurin (or PP2B). Does not inhibit type-2 phosphatases.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Product Notes

The PPP1R1A ppp1r1a (Catalog #AAA2902927) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's PPP1R1A / Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 1A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Antigen Protein (AP), Protein Array. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PPP1R1A ppp1r1a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PPP1R1A / Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 1A, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
