Related Product Information for KK-LC-1 positive control
A lung adenoarcinoma tumor specific CTL clone H1 obtained from the lymph node lymphocytes of patined was used to identify a new antigen coding gene by cDNA expression cloning technique. The gene consist of 556 bp including an open reading frame consist of 113 amino acids named as Kita-kyushu lung cancer antigen 1(KK-LC1)the epitope for this protein lies between aa 76-84, and the genomic DNA of this antigen was localized on chromosome Xq22.The Rt-analyses suggests that the mRNA for this gene is only expressed in the tesis among all the normal tissues. About 50% of the non-small-cell lung carcinoma and 40% of the non-small-cell lung cancer tissue are positive for the expression of this protein.

The KKLC-1 selective antibodies were generated against unique peptide taken from within the coding region of the KKLCA1 gene. MBS has generated highly specific rabbit- anti- KKLCA1 polyclonal antibodies utilizing small peptide sequences. MBS has produced antibodies to multiple epitopes on the same protein that will facilitate studies utilizing interspecies cross reactivity (KKLC1-101AP and KKLC1-112AP).The antibodies to KKLCA1 can be conjugated to fluorophores and other secondary enzymes as an additional service. Western blot positive control in ready-to-use SDS sample buffer(PC-KKLC1) and antigenic blocking peptides (P-KKLC1.112) are available.

Product Notes

The KK-LC-1 ct83 (Catalog #AAA542903) is a Positive Control and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's KK-LC-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KK-LC-1 ct83 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KK-LC-1, Positive Control" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
