Porcine RAR Related Orphan Receptor Alpha (RORA) ELISA Kit | RORA elisa kit
Porcine RAR Related Orphan Receptor Alpha (RORA) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Porcine P1NP antibody. P1NP present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Porcine P1NP Antibody is added and binds to P1NP in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated P1NP antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Porcine P1NP. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the NR1 subfamily of nuclear hormone receptors. It can bind as a monomer or as a homodimer to hormone response elements upstream of several genes to enhance the expression of those genes. The encoded protein has been shown to interact with NM23-2, a nucleoside diphosphate kinase involved in organogenesis and differentiation, as well as with NM23-1, the product of a tumor metastasis suppressor candidate gene. Also, it has been shown to aid in the transcriptional regulation of some genes involved in circadian rhythm. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Product Notes
The Porcine RORA (Catalog #AAA1603246) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1603246 ELISA Kit recognizes Porcine RORA. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RAR Related Orphan Receptor Alpha (RORA), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
