Uniprot Description

ZNF326: Core component of the DBIRD complex, a multiprotein complex that acts at the interface between core mRNP particles and RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) and integrates transcript elongation with the regulation of alternative splicing: the DBIRD complex affects local transcript elongation rates and alternative splicing of a large set of exons embedded in (A + T)-rich DNA regions. May play a role in neuronal differentiation and is able to bind DNA and activate expression in vitro. Belongs to the AKAP95 family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: RNA-binding; Transcription factor

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1p22.2

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; spliceosome; nuclear matrix; intracellular membrane-bound organelle

Molecular Function: protein binding; DNA binding; zinc ion binding

Biological Process: transcription, DNA-dependent; RNA splicing; positive regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; mRNA processing; regulation of RNA elongation

Product Notes

The ZNF326 znf326 (Catalog #AAA833674) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's ZNF326 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1.25 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZNF326 znf326 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZNF326, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
