Related Product Information for anti-ZMY11 antibody
Chromatin reader that specifically recognizes and binds histone H3.3 trimethylated at 'Lys-36' (H3.3K36me3) and regulates RNA polymerase II elongation. Does not bind other histone H3 subtypes (H3.1 or H3.2) By similarity. Colocalizes with highly expressed genes and functions as a transcription corepressor by modulating RNA polymerase II at the elongation stage. Acts as a tumor-suppressor by repressing a transcriptional program essential for tumor cell growth.Hateboer G., EMBO J. 14:3159-3169(1995).Deloukas P., Nature 429:375-381(2004).Matsuoka S., Science 316:1160-1166(2007).

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene was first identified by its ability to bind the adenovirus E1A protein. The protein localizes to the nucleus. It functions as a transcriptional repressor, and expression of E1A inhibits this repression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The ZMY11 zmynd11 (Catalog #AAA9405651) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ZMY11 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ZMY11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Immunohistochemistry: 1:50~1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZMY11 zmynd11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZMY11, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
