Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(WTX Antibody (Center) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded mouse brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the WTX Antibody (Center) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(WTX Antibody (Center) flow cytometric analysis of 293 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene upregulates trancriptional activation by the Wilms tumor protein and interacts with many other proteins, including CTNNB1, APC, AXIN1, and AXIN2. Defects in this gene are a cause of osteopathia striata with cranial sclerosis (OSCS). [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
Uniprot Description
WTX: a peripheral membrane protein on the cytoplasmic side that shuttles between nucleus and cytoplasm. Detected in nuclear paraspeckles that are found close to splicing speckles. Enhances trancription activation by WT1. Promotes CTNNB1 ubiquitination and degradation. Antagonizes Wnt and CTNNB1 signaling. Inactivated in approximately one-third of Wilms tumors. Detected in fetal and adult kidney, brain and spleen. Involved in kidney development. Interacts with CTNNB1, AXIN1, KEAP1, APC and BTRC. Interacts with SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complexes containing BTRC and/or FBXW11. Identified in a complex containing CTNNB1, APC, AXIN1 and AXIN2. Two alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported.

Product Notes
The WTX amer1 (Catalog #AAA6506012) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The WTX, ID (Protein FAM123B, Wilms Tumor Gene On The X Chromosome Protein, FAM123B) (MaxLight 650) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's WTX can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:50-1:100 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WTX amer1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "WTX, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
