NCBI Description

This gene encodes a nuclear protein containing 10 WD repeats. WD repeats are approximately 30- to 40-amino acid domains containing several conserved residues, which usually include a trp-asp at the C-terminal end. Proteins belonging to the WD repeat family are involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

WDR3: an ubiquitous nuclear WD40 repeat protein. WD40 repeats are found in a number of eukaryotic proteins that coordinate multi-protein complex assemblies. WD40 proteins are implicated in many functions including adaptor/regulatory modules in signal transduction, pre-mRNA processing and cytoskeleton assembly.

Product Notes

The WDR3 wdr3 (Catalog #AAA8551744) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The WDR3 (N-Term) Rabbit pAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's WDR3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 1:1000 FC/FACS: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WDR3 wdr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "WDR3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
