Goat VPS11 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-VPS11 antibody
Goat anti-VPS11 Antibody
Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Kidney shows brushborder staning in PCT cells and Human Pancreas shows cytoplasm staining of beta cells in islets of Langerhans. Recommended concentration, 3-6ug/ml.
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 75kDa band in human duodenum, colon and placenta lysates after 0.3ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 108kDa according to NP_068375.3. The 75kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
((3.8ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Kidney-. Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, AP-staining.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
((4ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Pancreas. Steamed antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH 9, HRP-staining.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Vesicle mediated protein sorting plays an important role in segregation of intracellular molecules into distinct organelles. Genetic studies in yeast have identified more than 40 vacuolar protein sorting (VPS) genes involved in vesicle transport to vacuoles. This gene encodes the human homolog of yeast class C Vps11 protein. The mammalian class C Vps proteins are predominantly associated with late endosomes/lysosomes, and like their yeast counterparts, may mediate vesicle trafficking steps in the endosome/lysosome pathway. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2014]

The 75kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the VPS11 vps11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: HALQEKDTQT KLE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "VPS11, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
