synaptosomal-associated protein are the main components of a
protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic
vesicles with the presynaptic membrane. This gene is a member of
the vesicle-associated membrane protein (VAMP)/synaptobrevin
family. Because of its high homology to other known VAMPs, its
broad tissue distribution, and its subcellular localization, the
protein encoded by this gene was shown to be the human equivalent
of the rodent cellubrevin. In platelets the protein resides on a
compartment that is not mobilized to the plasma membrane on calcium
or thrombin stimulation.

Product Notes
The VAMP3 vamp3 (Catalog #AAA9204928) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 15-43. The VAMP3 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human, Mouse, Zebrafish (Predicted Reactivity: Bovine, Rat, Monkey) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's VAMP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). WB~~1:1000!!IHC-P~~1:10~50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the VAMP3 vamp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "VAMP3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
