Related Product Information for anti-UQCRC1 antibody
Ubiquinol cytochrome c reductase core protein I (UQCRC1) is a component of the complex III in the respiratory chain and is expressed abundantly in neurons and astrocytes. UQCRC1 may also be important by forming complex III to maintain normal brain ischemic tolerance, learning, and memory. UQCRC1 is a nuclear-encoded protein localized to the inner mitochondrial membrane and plays a key role in influencing mitochondrial function. Increasing evidence supports that UQCRC1 overexpression takes part in cardioprotection. UQCRC1 overexpression protects H9c2 cardiac cells against mimic ischemia/reperfusion injury through mediating PI3K/Akt/GSK-3beta pathway to regulate apoptosis-related proteins. UQCRC1 was downregulated in human colorectal cancer (CRC). Downregulation of UQCRC1 was correlated with increased lymph node metastasis and finally associated with decreased survival in CRC.

Product Notes

The UQCRC1 uqcrc1 (Catalog #AAA8103056) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-UQCRC1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's UQCRC1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC-P: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UQCRC1 uqcrc1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "UQCRC1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
