Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Tyrosinase Antibody (C-term) (AP7345b)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human skin tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of Tyrosinase Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of Tyrosinase Antibody (C-term) with HepG2 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Tyrosinase Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of A375 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
TYR: This is a copper-containing oxidase that functions in the formation of pigments such as melanins and other polyphenolic compounds. Catalyzes the rate-limiting conversions of tyrosine to DOPA, DOPA to DOPA-quinone and possibly 5,6-dihydroxyindole to indole-5,6 quinone. Increased expression after UVB irradiation. Belongs to the tyrosinase family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Oxidoreductase; EC 1.14.18.1; Cofactor and Vitamin Metabolism - riboflavin; Amino Acid Metabolism - tyrosine; Membrane protein, integral
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 11q14.3
Cellular Component: perinuclear region of cytoplasm; lysosome; melanosome membrane; cytoplasm; melanosome; integral to membrane; Golgi-associated vesicle

Product Notes
The TYR tyr (Catalog #AAA6504274) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TYR, CT (Tyrosinase, Monophenol Monooxygenase, Tumor Rejection Antigen AB, SK29-AB, LB24-AB) (MaxLight 750) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TYR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:50-1:100 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TYR tyr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TYR, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
