Related Product Information for anti-NTRK3 antibody
TRKC, a member of the insuline receptor subfamily of Tyr protein kinases, is a receptor for neurotrophin-3 (NT-3). Known substrates for the TRK receptors are SHC, PI-3 kinase, and PLCG1. The different isoforms do not have identical signaling properties. The protein is widely expressed, mainly in the nervous tissue. The isoform B is expressed in a relatively large amount in the adult brain comparatively to fetal brain. TRKC is subject to ligand-mediated auto-phosphorylation. The protein structure contains 2 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains and 2 leucine-rich (LRR) repeats.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) family. This kinase is a membrane-bound receptor that, upon neurotrophin binding, phosphorylates itself and members of the MAPK pathway. Signalling through this kinase leads to cell differentiation and may play a role in the development of proprioceptive neurons that sense body position. Mutations in this gene have been associated with medulloblastomas, secretory breast carcinomas and other cancers. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]

Uniprot Description

TrkC: a receptor tyrosine kinase of the TRK family. Receptor for neurotrophin-3 (NT-3). Known substrates for the trk receptors are SHC, PI-3 kinase, and PLCG1. Four alternatively spliced isoforms are known.

Product Notes

The NTRK3 ntrk3 (Catalog #AAA627259) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TrkC, NT (GP145-TrkC, NTRK3, NT-3 Growth Factor Receptor, Neurotrophic Tyrosine Kinase Receptor Type 3, TrkC Tyrosine Kinase) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TrkC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NTRK3 ntrk3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TrkC, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
