Rabbit anti-Human TONSL Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TONSL antibody
TONSL Antibody, HRP conjugated
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is thought to be a negative regulator of NF-kappa-B mediated transcription. The encoded protein may bind NF-kappa-B complexes and trap them in the cytoplasm, preventing them from entering the nucleus and interacting with the DNA. Phosphorylation of this protein targets it for degradation by the ubiquitination pathway, which frees the NF-kappa-B complexes to enter the nucleus. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
NFKBIL2: Component of the MMS22L-TONSL complex, a complex that stimulates the recombination-dependent repair of stalled or collapsed replication forks. The MMS22L-TONSL complex is required to maintain genome integrity during DNA replication by promoting homologous recombination-mediated repair of replication fork- associated double-strand breaks. It may act by mediating the assembly of RAD51 filaments on ssDNA. Within the complex, may act as a scaffold. Belongs to the Tonsoku family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Transcription, coactivator/corepressor
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 8q24.3
Cellular Component: DNA replication factor A complex; MCM complex; nuclear replication fork; nucleoplasm
Molecular Function: histone binding; protein binding; transcription corepressor activity
Biological Process: cytoplasmic sequestering of transcription factor; double-strand break repair via homologous recombination; replication fork processing

Product Notes
The TONSL tonsl (Catalog #AAA7053042) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TONSL Antibody, HRP conjugated reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TONSL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TONSL tonsl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TONSL, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
