NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Srcasm: an adapter protein that is a src-family kinase substrate. When phosphorylated, it binds src-family kinases and targets them for lysosomal-dependent degradation. EGF triggers a transient association of phosphorylated Srcasm with EGFR via Grb2 and Shc initiating the endocytosis of the ligand-receptor complex. Interacts with the SH2 and SH3 domains of various signaling proteins when it is phosphorylated. Involved in multivesicular body (MVB) formation, viral egress from the cell, and cytokinesis. Belongs to the TOM1 family. Interacts with FYN, GRB2 and PIK3R1 when phosphorylated. The PTAP sequence in the GAT domain and the PSAP sequence in the C-terminal region are responsible for its interaction with the UEV domain of Tsg101, a component of the ESCRT-1 complex. Localizes to the multivesicular body (MVB) that is involved in targeting endosomal proteins for lysosomal degradation.

Product Notes
The TOM1L1 tom1l1 (Catalog #AAA9403267) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TOM1L1 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TOM1L1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). Western blotting: 1:500-1:3000 Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TOM1L1 tom1l1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TOM1L1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
