Related Product Information for anti-TMEM41B antibody
TMEM41B Antibody: TMEM41B is required for autophagosome formation and participates in early stages of autophagosome biogenesis at the ER membrane probably via mobilization of neutral lipids from lipid droplets. TMRM41B is a critical host factor required for infection by human coronaviruses SARS-CoV-2, HCoV-OC43, HCoV-NL63, and HCoV-229E, as well as all flaviviruses tested such as Zika virus and Yellow fever virus. It is required post-entry of the virus to facilitate the ER membrane remodeling necessary to form replication organelles.

Product Notes

The TMEM41B tmem41b (Catalog #AAA154819) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TMEM41B (CT) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat Predicted species reactivity based on immunogen sequence: Bovine (100%); Chicken (100%); Chimpanzee (100%). and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TMEM41B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB). WB: 2ug/mL IF: 20ug/mL. Antibody validated: Western Blot in mouse and rat samples; Immunofluorescence in human, mouse and rat samples. All other applications and species not yet tested. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TMEM41B tmem41b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TMEM41B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
