Rabbit Tachykinin Receptor 1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TACR1 antibody
Anti-Tachykinin Receptor 1 Antibody
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of Tachykinin Receptor 1 expression in COLO205 (A), mouse brain (B) whole cell lysates.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescent analysis of Tachykinin Receptor 1 staining in HeLa cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a humidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a DyLight 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene belongs to a gene family of tachykinin receptors. These tachykinin receptors are characterized by interactions with G proteins and contain seven hydrophobic transmembrane regions. This gene encodes the receptor for the tachykinin substance P, also referred to as neurokinin 1. The encoded protein is also involved in the mediation of phosphatidylinositol metabolism of substance P. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008]
Uniprot Description
TACR1: This is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide substance P. It is probably associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinity of this receptor to tachykinins is: substance P > substance K > neuromedin-K. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Product Notes
The TACR1 tacr1 (Catalog #AAA8232635) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Tachykinin Receptor 1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Chicken, Dog and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Tachykinin Receptor 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB (1/500 - 1/1000), IF (1/100 - 1/500), ICC (1/100 - 1/500). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TACR1 tacr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tachykinin Receptor 1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
