NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
TACC2: Plays a role in the microtubule-dependent coupling of the nucleus and the centrosome. Involved in the processes that regulate centrosome-mediated interkinetic nuclear migration (INM) of neural progenitors. May play a role in organizing centrosomal microtubules. May act as a tumor suppressor protein. May represent a tumor progression marker. Belongs to the TACC family. 6 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The TACC2 tacc2 (Catalog #AAA6501994) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TACC2 (Transforming, Acidic Coiled-coil containing protein 2, Anti-Zuai-1, AZU-1, ECTACC) (MaxLight 650) reacts with Mouse, Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TACC2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 2ug/ml detected TACC2 on 10ug of mouse testis tissue lysate Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TACC2 tacc2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TACC2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
