SOX1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-SOX1 antibody
Anti-SOX1 Antibody
Predicted to work with: Human
Predicted to work with: Human
Background: SOX1 (for Sex determining region Y-box 1), located in 13q34, is a transcription factor in the Sox protein family. It means that this intronless gene encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional activator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. In mice, a similar protein regulates the gamma-crystallin genes and is essential for lens development. SOX1 expression is restricted to neuroectodermin the tetrapod embryo. It is expressed particularly in the ventral striatum.

Product Notes
The SOX1 sox1 (Catalog #AAA178398) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SOX1 Antibody reacts with Mouse, Rat Predicted to work with: Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SOX1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot Concentration: 0.1-0.5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SOX1 sox1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SOX1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
