Related Product Information for anti-SLC12A1 antibody
The SLC12 family encodes electroneutral cation-coupled chloride cotransporters that are critical for several physiological processes including cell volume regulation, modulation of intraneuronal chloride concentration, transepithelial ion movement, and blood pressure regulation. Two genes of SLC12 family (SLC12A1 and SLC12A3), exhibit kidney-specific expression and function in renal salt reabsorption, whereas the third gene (SLC12A2) is expressed ubiquitously and plays a key role in epithelial salt secretion and cell volume regulation. Members of SLC12 family are the targets of the most commonly used diuretic drugs, have been shown to be the causative genes for inherited disease such as Gitelman, Bartter and Andermann syndromes.

Product Notes

The SLC12A1 (Catalog #AAA8109083) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SLC12A1/NKCC2 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLC12A1/NKCC2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). IHC-P: 1:200-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLC12A1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLC12A1/NKCC2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
