ELISA (EIA)(peptide)
Application Notes
ELISA(peptide): 1:20000-1:40000
Immunogen
A synthesized peptide derived from human SIPA1L1.
Conjugation
Unconjugated
Post Translational Modifications
Ubiquitinated and degraded by the SCF(BTRC) following phosphorylation by PLK2.Phosphorylated at Ser-1349 by CDK5, creating a docking site for the POLO box domains of PLK2. Subsequently, PLK2 binds and phosphorylates SIPA1L1, leading to ubiquitination and degradation by the proteasome (By similarity).
Subunit Structure
Interacts with DLG4, PDLIM5, PDLIM7 and LZTS3. Interacts with the actin cytoskeleton (By similarity). Interacts (via PDZ domain) with EPHA4 (via PDZ motif); controls neuronal morphology through regulation of the RAP1 (RAP1A or RAP1B) and RAP2 (RAP2A, RAP2B or RAP2C) GTPases. Interacts with HPV E6.
Tissue Specificity
Widely expressed.
Function
Stimulates the GTPase activity of RAP2A. Promotes reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and recruits DLG4 to F-actin. Contributes to the regulation of dendritic spine morphogenesis (By similarity).
Note
Associated with the actin cytoskeleton. Detected at synapses and dendritic spines of cultured hippocampal neurons (By similarity).
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months from date of receipt.

Product Notes

The SIPA1L1 sipa1l1 (Catalog #AAA9631309) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SIPA1L1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SIPA1L1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA)(peptide). ELISA(peptide): 1:20000-1:40000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SIPA1L1 sipa1l1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SIPA1L1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
