Testing Data (Lane 1: Detects GST-hSAP30L fusion protein in NIH3T3 cells. Lane 2: Detects wild-type transfected hSAP30L and endogenous hSAP30L in HEK293 cells. Lane 3: Detects endogenous hSAP30L in non-transfected MCF-7 cells. Detects wild-type transfected hSAP30L or GST-hSAP30L fusion protein as well as endogenous hSAP30L in human cell lines (e.g., HEK293 and MCF-7 cells). Detects wild-type transfected hSAP30L or GST-hSAP30L fusion protein in non-human cell lines (e.g. NIH3T3 cells), but does not detect endogenous non-human SAP30L. The transfected wild-type hSAP30L runs with an apparent molecular weight of ~30kD and the endogenous hSAP30L band runs with an apparent molecular wieght of 21-22kD. The difference in the size of the bands is unknown, but is seen by investigators in all studies of hSAP30L. Possible explanations for the size difference may be due to cleavage product, degradation and/or product or post-translational modification.)

Related Product Information for anti-SAP30L antibody
A novel TGF- beta up-regulated mRNA species, the Sin3-associated protein 30-like, SAP30L has been identified. The predicted nuclear localization signal of SAP30L is sufficient for nuclear transport of the protein although mutating it does not completely remove SAP30L from the nuclei. By reason of its nuclear localization and close homology to SAP30 it is thought that SAP30L might have a role in recruiting the Sin3-histone deacetylase complex to specific co-repressor complexes in response to TGF-beta, leading to the silencing of proliferation-driving genes in the differentiating intestinal epithelial cells.

Product Notes

The SAP30L sap30l (Catalog #AAA617672) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SAP30L (Sin3-associated Protein 30-like) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SAP30L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Western Blot: Use at 1:500-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SAP30L sap30l for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SAP30L, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
