Rabbit RPA32 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-RPA32 antibody
RPA32 (Replication Protein A 32kD Subunit, Replication Factor A Protein 2, Replication Protein A2 (32kD), Replication Protein A2 32kDa, REPA2, RPA2, HSSB, p32, p34, RF-A Protein 2, RPA p32, RP-A p34, RPA34) (HRP)
WB: 5ug/ml
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Testing Data
(mmunocytochemistry Analysis: Representative lot data. Confocal fluorescent analysis of A431and HeLa cells using Anti-p32 (Red). Actin filaments have been labeled with AlexaFluor488-Phalloidin (Green). Nucleus is stained with DAPI (Blue). This antibody positively stains the cytoplasm.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blotting Analysis: Representative lot data. A431 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membranes and probed with Anti-p32 (0.5 ug/mL). Proteins were visualized using a Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG conjugated to HRP and visualized using a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates p32 (~32 kDa).)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
RFA2: Required for DNA recombination, repair and replication. The activity of RP-A is mediated by single-stranded DNA binding and protein interactions. Required for the efficient recruitment of the DNA double-strand break repair factor RAD51 to chromatin in response to DNA damage. Heterotrimer of 70, 32 and 14 kDa chains (canonical replication protein A complex). Component of the alternative replication protein A complex (aRPA) composed of RPA1, RPA3 and RPA4. The DNA-binding activity may reside exclusively on the 70 kDa subunit. Binds to SERTAD3/RBT1. Interacts with TIPIN. Directly interacts with PPP4R2, but not with SMEK2; this interaction is DNA damage-dependent and leads RPA2 dephosphorylation by PPP4C recruitment. Interacts with RAD51, preferentially when hyperphosphorylated. Directly interacts with RFWD3. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The RPA32 rpa2 (Catalog #AAA6498202) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RPA32 (Replication Protein A 32kD Subunit, Replication Factor A Protein 2, Replication Protein A2 (32kD), Replication Protein A2 32kDa, REPA2, RPA2, HSSB, p32, p34, RF-A Protein 2, RPA p32, RP-A p34, RPA34) (HRP) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RPA32 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Western Blot (WB). ICC: 1:500 WB: 5ug/ml Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RPA32 rpa2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RPA32, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
