Rabbit Anti-Human DR5 (TRAIL-R2) Secondary Antibody
Rabbit Anti-Human DR5-UNLB
DR5, also known as TRAIL-R2, TRICK2 and KILLER, is a widely expressed type I membrane member of the tumor necrosis (TNF) receptor family. Members of this family contain multiple cysteine-rich repeats in their extracellular domain and while the cytoplasmic region is less conserved, they do contain an intracellular 80 amino acid motif known as the 'death domain' (DD).1, 2, 3, 4 DR5 is a receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TRAIL which induces apoptosis and it is the cytoplasmic DD that is responsible for transducing the death process.5, 6 DR5 has also been shown to activate NF- kappa B
Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 3 ug/10^6 cells
Western Blot Suggested Dilution: 1 - 2 ug/mL
Induction of Apoptosis Suggested Dilution: 2.5 ug/mL for 12 hours (10-12% in Jurkat cells)
Reagents are stable for the period shown on the label if stored as directed.

The Rabbit Anti-Human DR5 (TRAIL-R2) (Catalog #AAA674972) is a Secondary Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Anti-Human DR5-UNLB reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Rabbit Anti-Human DR5 (TRAIL-R2) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry; Western Blot. Research Application(s): Induction of apoptosis Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 3 ug/10^6 cells Western Blot Suggested Dilution: 1 - 2 ug/mL Induction of Apoptosis Suggested Dilution: 2.5 ug/mL for 12 hours (10-12% in Jurkat cells). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Rabbit Anti-Human DR5 (TRAIL-R2) for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Rabbit Anti-Human DR5 (TRAIL-R2), Polyclonal Secondary Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
