Rabbit RAB7 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-RAB7 antibody
RAB7, CT (Ras-related Protein Rab-7a, RAB7A) (APC)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot analysis in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane) usingMBS624193. RAB7 (arrow) was detected usingMBS624193.)
Testing Data
(All lanes: MBS624193 (1:2000) Lane 1: A431 whole cell lysate Lane 2: C2C12 whole cell lysate Lane 3: Hela whole cell lysate Lane 4: NIH/3T3 whole cell lysate. Lysates/proteins at 20ug/lane. Secondary IgG (HRP) GxRt Predicted band size: 23kD Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemistry staining of RAB7 in human skeletal muscle tissue sections using MBS624193 Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 3% BSA for 0.5hr at RT; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation with a citrate buffer (pH 6). Samples were incubated with MBS624193 (1:25) for 1hr at 37 degree C. A undiluted biotinylated goat polyvalent antibody was used as the secondary antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle reacted withMBS624193, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of MBS624193 for immunohistochemistry.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
RAB family members are small, RAS-related GTP-binding proteins that are important regulators of vesicular transport. Each RAB protein targets multiple proteins that act in exocytic / endocytic pathways. This gene encodes a RAB family member that regulates vesicle traffic in the late endosomes and also from late endosomes to lysosomes. This encoded protein is also involved in the cellular vacuolation of the VacA cytotoxin of Helicobacter pylori. Mutations at highly conserved amino acid residues in this gene have caused some forms of Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) type 2 neuropathies. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Rab7: a member of the RAB family of RAS-related GTP-binding proteins, important regulators of vesicular transport and are located in specific intracellular compartments. RAB7 has been localized to late endosomes and shown to be important in the late endocytic pathway. In addition, it has been shown to have a fundamental role in the cellular vacuolation induced by the cytotoxin VacA of Helicobacter pylori. Mutations in this protein cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth type 2B neuropathy.

Product Notes
The RAB7 rab7a (Catalog #AAA6496354) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RAB7, CT (Ras-related Protein Rab-7a, RAB7A) (APC) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RAB7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, FLISA, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RAB7 rab7a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RAB7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
