Uniprot Description

PUS10: Pseudouridylate synthases catalyze pseudouridination of structural RNAs, including transfer, ribosomal, and splicing RNAs. PUS10 catalyzes the formation of the universal psi55 in the GC loop of transfer RNAs (Probable). Modulator of TRAIL-induced cell death via activation of procaspase 8 and BID cleavage. Required for the progression of the apoptotic signal through intrinsic mitochondrial cell death. Belongs to the pseudouridine synthase Pus10 family.

Protein type: Isomerase; RNA processing; EC 5.4.99.-

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2p16.1

Molecular Function: RNA binding; pseudouridine synthase activity

Biological Process: pseudouridine synthesis; tRNA processing

Product Notes

The PUS10 pus10 (Catalog #AAA9212158) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 52-78. The PUS10 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PUS10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PUS10 pus10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PUS10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
