Rabbit PTPN18 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PTPN18 antibody
PTPN18 Antibody (C-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(PTPN18 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in MDA-MB231 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the PTPN18 antibody detected the PTPN18 protein (arrow).)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of PTPN18 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal PTPN18 Antibody (C-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the PTPN18 gene.)
protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be
signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes
including cell growth, differentiation, the mitotic cycle, and
oncogenic transformation. This PTP contains a PEST motif, which
often serves as a protein-protein interaction domain, and may be
related to protein intracellular half-live. This protein can
differentially dephosphorylate autophosphorylated tyrosine kinases
that are overexpressed in tumor tissues, and it appears to regulate
HER2, a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor family of
receptor tyrosine kinases. Two transcript variants encoding
different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by
RefSeq].

Uniprot Description
BDP1: a member of the non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. Contains a PEST motif, which often serves as a protein-protein interaction domain, and may be related to protein intracellular half-live. This gene was found to be expressed in brain, colon tissues, and several different tumor-derived cell lines.

Product Notes
The PTPN18 ptpn18 (Catalog #AAA9201396) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 430-459. The PTPN18 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PTPN18 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PTPN18 ptpn18 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PTPN18, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
