Related Product Information for anti-PRRG1 antibody
This gene encodes a vitamin K-dependent, gamma-carboxyglutamic acid (Gla)-containing, single-pass transmembrane protein. This protein contains a Gla domain at the N-terminus, preceded by a propeptide sequence required for post-translational gamma-carboxylation of specific glutamic acid residues by a vitamin K-dependent gamma-carboxylase. The C-terminus is proline-rich containing PPXY and PXXP motifs found in a variety of signaling and cytoskeletal proteins. This gene is highly expressed in the spinal cord. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq].

Uniprot Description

Subcellular location: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein

Potential.

Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in the spinal cord.

Post-translational modification: Gla residues are produced after subsequent post-translational modifications of glutamate by a vitamin K-dependent gamma-carboxylase.

Sequence similarities: Contains 1 Gla (gamma-carboxy-glutamate) domain.

Product Notes

The PRRG1 prrg1 (Catalog #AAA6337809) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PRRG1, NT (PRRG1, PRGP1, TMG1, Transmembrane gamma-carboxyglutamic acid protein 1, Proline-rich gamma-carboxyglutamic acid protein 1) (AP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PRRG1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:100-500 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PRRG1 prrg1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PRRG1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
