Protein phosphatase 2A holoenzymes are heterotrimeric proteins composed of a structural subunit A, a catalytic subunit C, and a regulatory subunit B. This gene encodes a specific phosphotyrosyl phosphatase activator of the dimeric form of protein phosphatase 2A.
