Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse PISD Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PISD antibody
PISD, ID (Phosphatidylserine Decarboxylase Proenzyme, Phosphatidylserine Decarboxylase alpha Chain, Phosphatidylserine Decarboxylase beta Chain)
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100
WB:1:1000
FC: 1:1-10-1:50
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis in mouse cerebellum tissue and mouse NIH-3T3 cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS624991. PISD (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain using MBS624991, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of NCI-H460 cells using MBS624991 (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Phosphatidylserine decarboxylases (PSDs; EC 4.1.1.65) catalyze the formation of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) by decarboxylation of phosphatidylserine (PS). Type I PSDs, such as PISD, are targeted to the inner mitochondrial membrane by an N-terminal targeting sequence. PISD also contains a conserved LGST motif that functions as an autocatalytic cleavage site where the proenzyme is split into mature alpha and beta subunits (Schuiki and Daum, 2009 [PubMed 19165886]).[supplied by OMIM, Jul 2010]
Uniprot Description

Product Notes
The PISD pisd (Catalog #AAA624991) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PISD, ID (Phosphatidylserine Decarboxylase Proenzyme, Phosphatidylserine Decarboxylase alpha Chain, Phosphatidylserine Decarboxylase beta Chain) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PISD can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100 WB:1:1000 FC: 1:1-10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PISD pisd for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PISD, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
