Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-Phosphoglucomutase, beta antibody
Phosphoglucomutase (PGM) interconverts the 1- and 6-phosphate isomers of alpha-D-glucose. Although it is a reversible reaction, the formation of glucose-6-phosphate is markedly favored. PGM will not convert beta-D-glucose-1-phosphate or beta-D-glucose-6-phosphate.

Product Notes

The Phosphoglucomutase, beta (Catalog #AAA612593) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Phosphoglucomutase, beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Suitable for Immunoblotting, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates Dilution: ELISA: 1:3,000 to 1:20,000. Against 1ug of b-Phosphoglucomutase [Lactococcus lacti] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated streptavidin and ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Phosphoglucomutase, beta for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phosphoglucomutase, beta, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
