Related Product Information for anti-PFN1 antibody
Mutations in the profilin 1 (PFN1) gene cause amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurodegenerative disease caused by the loss of motor neurons leading to paralysis and eventually death. PFN1 is a small actin-binding protein that promotes formin-based actin polymerization and regulates numerous cellular functions.

Product Notes

The PFN1 pfn1 (Catalog #AAA8103753) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-PFN1/Profilin 1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Mouse, Rat Predicted to React with: Bovin (Species predicted to react based on 100% sequence homology) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PFN1/Profilin 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC-P: 1:200-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PFN1 pfn1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PFN1/Profilin 1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
