NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. The protein encoded by this gene is a DEAD box protein that is part of a complex that interacts with the C-terminus of RNA polymerase II and is involved in 3' end processing of snRNAs. In addition, this gene is a candidate tumor suppressor and located in the critical region of loss of heterozygosity (LOH). Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
INTS6: Component of the Integrator complex, a complex involved in the small nuclear RNAs (snRNA) U1 and U2 transcription and in their 3'-box-dependent processing. The Integrator complex is associated with the C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA polymerase II largest subunit (POLR2A) and is recruited to the U1 and U2 snRNAs genes. May have a tumor suppressor role; an ectopic expression suppressing tumor cell growth. Belongs to the Integrator subunit 6 family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The INTS6 ints6 (Catalog #AAA9126202) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The INTS6 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's INTS6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB: 1:500 - 1:2000 IHC: 1:50 - 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the INTS6 ints6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "INTS6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
