Uniprot Description

CD274: Involved in the costimulatory signal, essential for T- cell proliferation and production of IL10 and IFNG, in an IL2- dependent and a PDCD1-independent manner. Interaction with PDCD1 inhibits T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. Belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. BTN/MOG family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral

Cellular Component: cell surface; membrane; integral to membrane; plasma membrane; external side of plasma membrane

Molecular Function: protein binding

Biological Process: cell surface receptor linked signal transduction; negative regulation of T cell proliferation; negative regulation of interleukin-10 production; negative regulation of activated T cell proliferation; negative regulation of interferon-gamma production; T cell costimulation; positive regulation of T cell proliferation; immune response; signal transduction; positive regulation of cell migration

Product Notes

The PD-L1 cd274 (Catalog #AAA9462421) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PD-L1 Polyclonal Antibody Bio Conjugated reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PD-L1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Frozen (IHC-F). WB: 1:50-200 IHC-F: 1:50-200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PD-L1 cd274 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PD-L1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
