Related Product Information for anti-PAP2D antibody
PAP2D is a type 2 member of the phosphatidic acid phosphatase (PAP) family. All type 2 members of this protein family contain 6 transmembrane regions, and a consensus N-glycosylation site. PAPs convert phosphatidic acid to diacylglycerol, and function in de novo synthesis of glycerolipids as well as in receptor-activated signal transduction mediated by phospholipase D. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. [provided by RefSeq].

Product Notes

The PAP2D lppr5 (Catalog #AAA6330725) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PAP2D, ID (LPPR5, PAP2D, Lipid phosphate phosphatase-related protein type 5, Phosphatidic acid phosphatase 2d, Plasticity-related gene 5 protein) (AP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PAP2D can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:100-500 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PAP2D lppr5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PAP2D, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
