Related Product Information for anti-PTGES3 antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for p23/PTGES3 detection. Tested with WB, Direct ELISA in Human; Mouse; Rat.

Background: Prostaglandin E synthase 3 (cytosolic) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PTGES3 gene. It is mapped to 12q13.3; 12. This gene encodes an enzyme that converts prostaglandin endoperoxide H2 (PGH2) to prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). This protein functions as a co-chaperone with heat shock protein 90 (HSP90), localizing to response elements in DNA and disrupting transcriptional activation complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. There are multiple pseudogenes of this gene on several different chromosomes.

Product Notes

The PTGES3 ptges3 (Catalog #AAA1752872) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-p23/PTGES3 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's p23/PTGES3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Direct ELISA (EIA). WB: 0.1-0.25ug/mL Direct ELISA: 0.1-0.5ug/mL Tested Species: In-house tested species with positive results. Other applications have not been tested. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PTGES3 ptges3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "p23/PTGES3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
