Rabbit p140 Cap Polyclonal Antibody | anti-SRCIN1 antibody
Anti-p140 Cap Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
SNIP: Acts as a negative regulator of SRC by activating CSK which inhibits SRC activity and downstream signaling, leading to impaired cell spreading and migration. Regulates dendritic spine morphology. Involved in calcium-dependent exocytosis. May play a role in neurotransmitter release or synapse maintenance. Interacts with the N-terminal coiled-coil region of SNAP25. Interacts with BCAR1/p130Cas and SRC through its C-terminal domain. Interacts with CSK, CTTN, SORBS3/vinexin, SYP and MAPRE3/EB3. Expressed in some primary breast carcinomas where its presence is significantly associated with increased tumor size. Not detected in normal breast tissue. Belongs to the SRCIN1 family. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Cytoskeletal
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 17q12
Cellular Component: postsynaptic membrane; focal adhesion; axon; cytoplasm; postsynaptic density; dendrite; synapse; actin cytoskeleton

Product Notes
The SRCIN1 srcin1 (Catalog #AAA8221699) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-p140 Cap Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Monkey and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's p140 Cap can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB (1/500 - 1/1000). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SRCIN1 srcin1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "p140 Cap, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
