Rabbit anti-Human NUP155 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-NUP155 antibody
NUP155, NT (Nuclear Pore Complex Protein Nup155, Nucleoporin Nup155, 155kD Nucleoporin, KIAA0791) (Biotin)
ELISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of NUP155 antibody (N-term) in HL60 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). NUP155 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
((LEFT)Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with NUP155 Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. (RIGHT)Flow cytometric analysis of 293 cells using NUP155 Antibody (N-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Nucleoporins are proteins that play an important role in the assembly and functioning of the nuclear pore complex (NPC) which regulates the movement of macromolecules across the nuclear envelope (NE). The protein encoded by this gene plays a role in the fusion of NE vesicles and formation of the double membrane NE. The protein may also be involved in cardiac physiology and may be associated with the pathogenesis of atrial fibrillation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants of this gene. A pseudogene associated with this gene is located on chromosome 6. [provided by RefSeq, May 2013]
Uniprot Description
NUP155: Essential component of nuclear pore complex. Nucleoporins may be involved both in binding and translocating proteins during nucleocytoplasmic transport. Belongs to the non-repetitive/WGA-negative nucleoporin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Nucleoporin
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 5p13.1

Product Notes
The NUP155 nup155 (Catalog #AAA6490751) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NUP155, NT (Nuclear Pore Complex Protein Nup155, Nucleoporin Nup155, 155kD Nucleoporin, KIAA0791) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NUP155 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NUP155 nup155 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NUP155, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
