Related Product Information for anti-NR2F2 antibody
NR2F2, a member of nuclear receptor subfamily 2, was shown to be associated with cancer.NR2F2 (COUP-TFII) is an orphan nuclear receptor that plays critical roles in cell differentiation and lineage determination. The NR2F2 gene plays an important role in angiogenesis and heart development.COUP-TFII (NR2F2) is mapped to the 15q26 deletion hotspot associated with the common and highly morbid congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH).

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the steroid thyroid hormone superfamily of nuclear receptors. The encoded protein is a ligand inducible transcription factor that is involved in the regulation of many different genes. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010]

Uniprot Description

NR2F2: Ligand-activated transcription factor. Activated by high concentrations of 9-cis-retinoic acid and all-trans-retinoic acid, but not by dexamethasone, cortisol or progesterone (in vitro). Regulation of the apolipoprotein A-I gene transcription. Binds to DNA site A. Interacts with SQSTM1. Binds DNA as a dimer; homodimer or heterodimer with NR2F6. Interacts with NCOA1, NCOA2, NCOA3 and PPARGC1A. Interacts with ZFPM2. Ubiquitous. Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR2 subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The NR2F2 nr2f2 (Catalog #AAA8100964) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-NR2F2 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human Predicted to React with: Mouse (Species predicted to react based on 100% sequence homology) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NR2F2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB: 1:500-1:1000 ICC/IF: 1:1500-1:50,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NR2F2 nr2f2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NR2F2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
