Rabbit anti-Human NR2E1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-NR2E1 antibody
NR2E1 (Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 2 Group E Member 1, Nuclear Receptor TLX, Protein Tailless Homolog, Tll, hTll, TLX) (Biotin)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is an orphan receptor involved in retinal development. The encoded protein also regulates adult neural stem cell proliferation and may be involved in control of aggressive behavior. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]
Uniprot Description
NR2E1: Orphan receptor that binds DNA as a monomer to hormone response elements (HRE) containing an extended core motif half- site sequence 5'-AAGGTCA-3' in which the 5' flanking nucleotides participate in determining receptor specificity. May be required to pattern anterior brain differentiation. Involved in the regulation of retinal development and essential for vision. During retinogenesis, regulates PTEN-Cyclin D expression via binding to the promoter region of PTEN and suppressing its activity. May be involved in retinoic acic receptor (RAR) regulation in retinal cells. Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR2 subfamily.

Product Notes
The NR2E1 nr2e1 (Catalog #AAA6387449) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NR2E1 (Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 2 Group E Member 1, Nuclear Receptor TLX, Protein Tailless Homolog, Tll, hTll, TLX) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NR2E1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NR2E1 nr2e1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NR2E1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
