Rabbit anti-Human NMBR Polyclonal Antibody | anti-NMBR antibody
NMBR antibody - N-terminal region
Target Description: Neuromedin B receptor binds neuromedin B, a potent mitogen and growth factor for normal and neoplastic lung and for gastrointestinal epithelial tissue.Neuromedin B receptor binds neuromedin B, a potent mitogen and growth factor for normal and neoplastic lung and for gastrointestinal epithelial tissue. Sequence Note: This RefSeq record was created from transcript and genomic sequence data because transcript sequence consistent with the reference genome assembly was not available for all regions of the RefSeq transcript. The extent of this transcript is supported by transcript alignments. NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a 7-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor that binds neuromedin B, which is a growth factor and mitogen for gastrointestinal epithelial tissue and for normal and neoplastic lung. This receptor may play a role in smooth muscle contraction, neuronal responses, and the regulation of cell growth. Antagonists of this receptor have a potential therapeutic use in inhibiting tumor cell growth. Polymorphisms in this gene may be associated with a susceptibility for schizophrenia. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2016]

Product Notes
The NMBR nmbr (Catalog #AAA3213922) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NMBR antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NMBR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NMBR nmbr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: PSKSLSNLSV TTGANESGSV PEGWERDFLP ASDGTTTELV IRCVIPSLYL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NMBR, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
