NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
In the mouse, Nkd is a Dishevelled (see DVL1; MIM 601365)-binding protein that functions as a negative regulator of the Wnt (see WNT1; MIM 164820)-beta-catenin (see MIM 116806)-Tcf (see MIM 602272) signaling pathway.[supplied by OMIM, Jun 2003]
Uniprot Description
NKD1: Cell autonomous antagonist of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway. May activate a second Wnt signaling pathway that controls planar cell polarity. Interacts with DVL1, DVL2, DVL3 and PPP2R3A. Expression is induced by activation of the Wnt signaling pathway. Expressed in colon, heart, kidney, leukocyte, liver, lung, ovary, pancreas, placenta, prostate, skeletal muscle, small intestine and spleen. Belongs to the NKD family.

Product Notes
The NKD1 nkd1 (Catalog #AAA9433314) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NKD1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NKD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NKD1 nkd1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NKD1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
