Rabbit anti-Human, mouse NCKPL Polyclonal Antibody | anti-NCKAP1L antibody
NCKPL Antibody (Center)
tissue-specific transmembrane proteins which are highly conserved
from invertebrates through mammals. This gene is only expressed in
hematopoietic cells. The encoded protein is a part of the Scar/WAVE
complex which plays an important role in regulating cell shape in
both metazoans and plants. Alternatively spliced transcript
variants encoding different isoforms have been found.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the HEM family of tissue-specific transmembrane proteins which are highly conserved from invertebrates through mammals. This gene is only expressed in hematopoietic cells. The encoded protein is a part of the Scar/WAVE complex which plays an important role in regulating cell shape in both metazoans and plants. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found.[provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
Uniprot Description
HEM1: a component of the Scar/WAVE complex that plays an important role in regulating cell shape and motility. Found at elevated levels in cells of hematopoietic lineage. Localizes to propagating waves at the leading edge of a motile human neutrophils. The complex stimulates actin assembly; polymerized actin is reciprocally required to remove the complex from the membrane. Overexpression is associated with poor outcome in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients.

Product Notes
The NCKAP1L nckap1l (Catalog #AAA9210782) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 641-669. The NCKPL Antibody (Center) reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NCKPL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NCKAP1L nckap1l for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NCKPL, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
