Related Product Information for anti-NCF2 antibody
NOXA2/p67phox is neutrophil cytosolic factor 2, the 67-kilodaltoncytosolic subunit of the multi-protein NADPH oxidase complex found inneutrophils. This oxidase produces a burst of superoxide which isdelivered to the lumen of the neutrophil phagosome. Mutations in thisgene, as well as in other NADPH oxidase subunits, can result in chronicgranulomatous disease, a disease that causes recurrent infections bycatalase-positive organisms.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes neutrophil cytosolic factor 2, the 67-kilodalton cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein NADPH oxidase complex found in neutrophils. This oxidase produces a burst of superoxide which is delivered to the lumen of the neutrophil phagosome. Mutations in this gene, as well as in other NADPH oxidase subunits, can result in chronic granulomatous disease, a disease that causes recurrent infections by catalase-positive organisms. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2010]

Uniprot Description

NCF2, NCF1, and a membrane bound cytochrome b558 are required for activation of the latent NADPH oxidase (necessary for superoxide production).

Product Notes

The NCF2 ncf2 (Catalog #AAA2401916) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-NCF2/NOXA2/p67phox Antibody reacts with Human Predicted: Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NCF2/NOXA2/p67phox can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). ICC: 1:20-1:100 IF: 1:50-1:200 IHC: 1:50-1:200 IHC-P: 1:100 IP: 1:20-1:100 WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NCF2 ncf2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NCF2/NOXA2/p67phox, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
