Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse MYT1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PKMYT1 antibody
Anti-MYT1 Antibody
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of MYT1 expression in HepG2 (A), K562 (B), NIH3T3 (C) whole cell lysates.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of MYT1 staining in human brain formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. The encoded protein is a membrane-associated kinase that negatively regulates the G2/M transition of the cell cycle by phosphorylating and inactivating cyclin-dependent kinase 1. The activity of the encoded protein is regulated by polo-like kinase 1. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, May 2012]
Uniprot Description
Myt1: a dual specificity protein kinase of the WEE family. Preferentially phosphorylates and inactivates cell division cycle 2 protein (CDC2), and thus negatively regulates cell cycle G2/M transition. This kinase is associated with the membrane throughout the cell cycle. Its activity is highly regulated during the cell cycle. Alternative splice-variant isoforms have been reported.

Product Notes
The PKMYT1 pkmyt1 (Catalog #AAA8241967) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MYT1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MYT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Western Blot: (1/500 - 1/1000); Immunohistochemistry: (1/100 - 1/200). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PKMYT1 pkmyt1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MYT1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
