Related Product Information for anti-MUCDHL antibody
Mucin and cadherin-like protein (MUCDHL), also known as mu-protocadherin, is a 110kD type I transmembrane protein that is both O- and N-glycosylated. It is a calcium-dependant cell adhesion protein in the cadherin superfamily. MUCDHL is found on intestinal and renal epithelium. Human MUCDHL extracellular domain (ECD) contains four cadherin domains (aa71-459) plus several mucin domains (aa540-645). Alternate splicing creates four isoforms that differ in their mucin domains. In the region used as immunogen, human and mouse MUCDHL share 63% aa sequence identity.

Product Notes

The MUCDHL (Catalog #AAA647483) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MUCDHL (Cadherin-related Family Member 5, Mu-protocadherin, Mucin and Cadherin-like Protein, CDHR5, MUPCDH, UNQ2781/PRO7168) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MUCDHL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA). Suitable for use in ELISA. Dilution: ELISA: 1:8000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MUCDHL for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MUCDHL, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
