Related Product Information for anti-MTCH2 antibody
This gene encodes a member of the SLC25 family of nuclear-encoded transporters that are localized in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Members of this superfamily are involved in many metabolic pathways and cell functions. Genome-wide association studies in human have identified single-nucleotide polymorphisms in several loci associated with obesity. This gene is one such locus, which is highly expressed in white adipose tissue and adipocytes, and thought to play a regulatory role in adipocyte differentiation and biology. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. A recent study showed this gene to be an authentic stop codon readthrough target, and that its mRNA can give rise to an additional C-terminally extended isoform by use of an alternative in-frame translation termination codon.

Product Notes

The MTCH2 mtch2 (Catalog #AAA3010179) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MTCH2 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MTCH2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:1000-1:3000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MTCH2 mtch2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MTCH2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
