Rabbit anti-Human MLLT7 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-MLLT7 antibody
MLLT7, NT (Forkhead Box Protein O4, Fork Head Domain Transcription Factor AFX1, FOXO4, AFX, AFX1) (AP)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot analysis in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane) usingMBS629806. This demonstrates that MBS629806 detected the MLLT7 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human kidney tissue using MBS629806 followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of MBS629806 for immunohistochemistry.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the O class of winged helix/forkhead transcription factor family. Proteins encoded by this class are regulated by factors involved in growth and differentiation indicating they play a role in these processes. A translocation involving this gene on chromosome X and the homolog of the Drosophila trithorax gene, encoding a DNA binding protein, located on chromosome 11 is associated with leukemia. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2010]
Uniprot Description
FOXO4: transcription factor AFX1 containing 1 fork-head domain. May play a role in the insulin signaling pathway. Involved in acute leukemias by a chromosomal translocation t(X;11)(q13;q23) that involves MLLT7 and MLL/HRX. The result is a rogue activator protein. Two splice-variant isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The MLLT7 foxo4 (Catalog #AAA6477084) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MLLT7, NT (Forkhead Box Protein O4, Fork Head Domain Transcription Factor AFX1, FOXO4, AFX, AFX1) (AP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MLLT7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MLLT7 foxo4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MLLT7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
