Rabbit anti-Human Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase 1 (MAP2K1) Polyclonal Antibody | anti-MAP2K1 antibody
Biotin-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase 1 (MAP2K1)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the dual specificity protein kinase family, which acts as a mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase kinase. MAP kinases, also known as extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs), act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals. This protein kinase lies upstream of MAP kinases and stimulates the enzymatic activity of MAP kinases upon wide variety of extra- and intracellular signals. As an essential component of MAP kinase signal transduction pathway, this kinase is involved in many cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. Uniprot Description
MEK1: a dual-specificity protein kinase of the STE7 kinase family. Phosphorylated and activated by Raf, Mos and Cot kinases. Phosphorylates a Thr and a Tyr residue in a Thr-Glu-Tyr sequence located in the activation loop of ERK1 and ERK2. An essential component of MAP kinase signal transduction pathways involved in many cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development.

The MAP2K1 map2k1 (Catalog #AAA2095340) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Biotin-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase 1 (MAP2K1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase 1 (MAP2K1) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAP2K1 map2k1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase 1 (MAP2K1), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
