Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse INIP Polyclonal Antibody | anti-INIP antibody
INIP Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
SOSSC is a subunit of single-stranded DNA (ssDNA)-binding complexes involved in the maintenance of genome stability (Huang et al., 2009) [PubMed 19683501].[supplied by OMIM, Feb 2010]
Uniprot Description
INIP: Component of the SOSS complex, a multiprotein complex that functions downstream of the MRN complex to promote DNA repair and G2/M checkpoint. The SOSS complex associates with single- stranded DNA at DNA lesions and influences diverse endpoints in the cellular DNA damage response including cell-cycle checkpoint activation, recombinational repair and maintenance of genomic stability. Required for efficient homologous recombination- dependent repair of double-strand breaks (DSBs) and ATM-dependent signaling pathways. Belongs to the SOSS-C family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 9q32
Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; nucleus
Molecular Function: protein binding
Biological Process: response to ionizing radiation; DNA repair; response to DNA damage stimulus

Product Notes
The INIP inip (Catalog #AAA9630403) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The INIP Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's INIP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA)(peptide). ELISA(peptide): 1:20000-1:40000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the INIP inip for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "INIP, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
