Immunoprecipitation: This rabbit antiserum will quantitatively immunoprecipitate human ANP at dilutions ranging from 1:1000 to 1:10.000 depending upon the amount of ANP in a sample and the procedure used. We have tested the antiserum using both double antibody precipitation and magnetic bead techniques.

This antiserum was raised in a rabbit which was immunized with human atrial natriuretic polypeptide covalently attached onto a carrier protein. The antiserum is specific for human ANP and has been shown by RIA techniques to immunoprecipitate quantitatively human ANP. Dilute the lyophilized antiserum with 0.1 ml of 10 mg/ml BSA is PBS for the equivalent of whole antiserum. or with additional buffer for more dilute antiserum.
